Vast acreages of mined land have the potential to produce biomass products to meet the nation’s future energy needs. Alpha has partnered with researchers to investigate the potential of this renewable energy resource.

Our commitment to reclamation begins with actively implementing new land reclamation techniques developed by researchers at educational institutions like Virginia Tech. Our Forestry Reclamation approach uses a proven five step technique for reclaiming mined lands.
