Throughout Alpha, everywhere we operate, we strive to be good corporate stewards, to be leaders in our communities, and to treat our neighbors with respect. We encourage employees to volunteer their time and talents to help make our communities better today than they were yesterday.
We direct our focus on several targeted areas where we feel we will have the most impact:
- Education - Promoting excellence in education, Alpha supports all levels of instruction, including K-12, undergraduate, graduate, continuing education and technical programs.
- Arts and Culture - Recognizing and embracing the diverse interests of our employees and the communities served, Alpha provides support to regional museums, events promoting local heritage and traditions, as well as centers for the arts and culture.
- Social – Strengthening the ties between Alpha and its communities, we provide support and encourage local involvement in organizations that build team and leadership skills for the youth in our service areas.
- Human Services – Funding initiatives that improve the quality of life for those in need is a targeted goal, with special focus on health care and emergency fuel needs.
