William J. Crowley, Jr. is a member of the audit committee and the compensation committee since July 2009. He was appointed to Foundation’s board of directors in December 2004 until July, 2009. He had served as chairman of Foundation’s audit committee since December 2004, and was Foundation’s audit committee financial expert. Mr. Crowley has served as an independent business advisor to various companies since 2002. Prior to his retirement in 2002, Mr. Crowley had a 32- year career with Arthur Andersen LLP, 16 years of which were in Baltimore, Maryland, most recently serving for 7 years as managing partner of the Baltimore office. Mr. Crowley currently serves as a director, member of the audit committee and chairman of the investment subcommittee of JNL Series Trust. He served as a director and chairman of the audit committee and was on the nominating and governance committee of BioVeris Corporation from May 2004 to June 2007 when that company was acquired. He served as a director and member of the audit committee of Provident Bankshares Corporation from May 2003 to May 2009 when that company was acquired.
