Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer
Randy McMillion has been Alpha’s Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer since August 2009. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer from February 2009 to July 2009 and Vice President of Operations from April 2007 to February 2009. Randy joined Alpha in May 2005 as the President and Manager of our Brooks Run subsidiary, in charge of all southern West Virginia mining operations. Before joining Alpha Randy worked Foundation Coal and its predecessor—RAG American Coal, including President of Rockspring Development from June 2004 to May 2005, and a number of other positions with RAG American Coal beginning in October 1999. Previously Randy held engineering, mining and processing positions at Pittston Coal Co., including Pittston’s Vice President of West Virginia Operations.
