Michael R. Peelish 

Michael Peelish has been Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer since June 2011.  Prior to that time, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer from August 2009 until June 2011, Senior Vice President, Safety and Human Resources for Foundation from August  2004 through July 2009 and Senior Vice President, Safety and Human Resources of RAG American Coal Holding, Inc. from 1999 until August 2004. From 1989 to 1999, he served in various legal, safety and regulatory roles for the Cyprus Amax companies, and before that he was an attorney at Consolidation Coal Company. Michael received his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Engineering of Mines from West Virginia University, Cum Laude.
