Eddie W. Neely 

Eddie Neely has been Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer since August 2009.  Prior to the merger with Foundation in July 2009, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer  from February 2009 through July 2009 and as Controller from November 2004 through July 2009.  Eddie  joined management team as the secretary of Alpha Natural Resources, LLC in August 2002, and served as vice president and controller of that entity until the Merger. He currently serves as executive vice president of Alpha Natural Resources, LLC (a position he has held since June 2009) and as its chief risk officer (a position he has held since August 2009). Before joining Alpha, Eddie was Chief Financial Officer of Whites Fresh Food, Inc., a family-owned supermarket chain.  He also served as Controller for Hunt Assisted Living, LLC from October 1997 to August 1999, Director of Accounting for The Brink’s Company from January 1996 until October 1997 and held various accounting and finance positions with Pittston and its subsidiaries prior to January 1996.
